"Being a parent is one of life's tallest orders. It requires patience, humor, discipline, fun, wisdom, and compassion all dispensed miraculously at the right moment. This can often be a difficult task. 1,2,3,4 Parents! can help build parent confidence during their early, critical parenting years."
The Parenting Classes at A.O. Fox Hospital is staffed by trained professionals, experienced in parenting education. The program, 1,2,3,4 Parents!, is a video based, interactive program designed to build parent confidence.
Course Goals

The 1,2,3,4 Parents! classes teach parents:

  • How to take care of themselves
  • Explains child development
  • Explains methods of bonding
  • Teaches non-violent discipline skills
  • Childproofing
  • Encouragement skills
Getting Started

Courses are taught at the FoxCare Center by Lisa Depperman and Marietta Maben, experienced Childbirth Educators. There is a $10.00 fee per person. Baby-sitting services are available at Healthlinks@FoxCare Rising Stars.
