HealthLinks Group Fitness!

The Group Fitness Program at HealthLinks is designed to provide members with a wide variety of group fitness activities. Our classes accommodate all member ages and fitness levels and are taught by the finest fitness professionals in the Oneonta area.

Group fitness class descriptions [please note:  We do recommend pre-registration for those classes marked with an (*); also, some "walk-in" classes require a fee for attendance – these are marked with a ($)]

*$ Ai Chi

A unique water exercise and relaxation program that uses deep breathing and slow, broad movements to improve mobility; great for pain management, chronic disorders, arthritis, and many debilitating conditions (this class is offered as a 6-week block; $20.00 for the entire 6-week session) 

Aqua

We offer Aqua Attack, Aqua Aerobics, Aquacise, Aqua-lates, and Sunrise Splash classes; all use the water as resistance to help improve strength, balance, body tone, and functional movement - try each class and find the best fit!

Band & Ball

Resistance bands and stability balls provide the venue for this combo workout that will enhance muscle strength, tone, and core stability - a perfect complement to your regular exercise routine.

Basic Step

A BEGINNER level class that teaches basic step movements and combinations - you'll progress in no time!

Body Sculpt

Designed to tone and strengthen your body, this class is a perfect complement to our cardio classes. All ages and abilities are welcome to enjoy the benefits of free weight strength training using dumbbells and other exercise equipment. We also offer a Total Package as a similar class for total body toning!

Baby 'N Me

Designed to get Mom or Dad back into shape while exercising with baby!  Bring your little one (under 1 year) and 'play' while getting fit.  Class finishes off with short baby massage session.  

Belly Dancing

Get ready to move those hips!  A fun, aerobic class with movement originating from the core, this class will tone up those abs and arms and free your spirit!

Butts 'N Guts

Just what it implies - this class will kick your coolly and tone your core - you'll think of us when you sit down tomorrow!

Cardio Sculpt

C.S. uses a fabulous combination of cardio exercises followed by free weight training with a variety of "fitness toys" for an all-around workout - we'll follow with a well-deserved stretch and cool-down!

Cardio Kickbox

This workout combines aerobic activity and body toning while learning self defense tactics. Reduce body fat and stress while improving strength, muscle tone, and endurance!  Combo classes include Box 'n Burn and Kick 'n Sculpt.

E.B.T.K.S.

Everything But The Kitchen Sink - come ready to play hard!  Class will utilize every piece of equipment imaginable!  This high intensity class will get your heart rate up and hopefully make you "sore" the next day!  

Express!

Want a quick hit, 15-minute power workout?  Check out these 15-minute BLASTS of exercise guaranteed to shake up your routine - be warmed up and ready to go - include an EXPRESS workout into your daily routine.  There's EXPRESS Balance and Abs to choose from - or take them both!

Foxercise

A variety of low impact activities that is perfectly tailored to individuals wishing to improve cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and functional strength and balance.

*$Gyrokinesis

This dynamic workout gently works the joints and muscles through rhythmic and undulating exercises.  Fluidity is the key in this class to produce a long, lean, and more flexible you!

Hips, Abs, and Thighs

Designed to tone and define, this class is a total lower body workout.  A perfect compliment to your cardio routine!

Just for Women

A circuit training class designed just for the ladies!  Emphasize placed on cardiovascular improvement and overall toning, finishing up with ab work.  All ages and abilities welcome!  Everyone works at their own pace.

Pilates

With an emphasis on the Stott Pilates model, this class emphasizes key movements to build strength, core stability, and improve flexibility, agility, and economy of motion.

Pilates Fusion

Like our traditional Pilates class, but combined with the basic principles of ballet to improve balance, poise, and stamina. 

Psycho Step

A challenging, high energy, choreographed class for those who love to step! Recommended for those with experience in Step Aerobics - try our Psycho and Abs class - fantastic!

Salsa

Learn to Salsa dance and get a great workout!  This class is a great way to have fun, learn to dance, and get a workout!

Senior Get Fit

A variety of activities that are perfectly tailored to individuals wishing to improve cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and functional strength and balance.  A non-impact class geared for those who are new or returning to exercise. 

*$ Smash Class

A high intensity circuit training session that utilizes a wide variety of exercise equipment and movements; it's simply smashing! $3.00 per class or use of Class Pass

*$ Indoor Cycling Program

A 45-minute cycling journey that will challenge you both physically and mentally (water and towel required).  Indoor Cycling and other combo classes are "walk-in" classes. $3.00 per class or use of Class Pass for "walk-in" classes

*$ Stability Ball

Our BEGINNER class is a 6-week block of stability ball basics, with an emphasis on core body movements, balance and coordination, and stabilization development.  Stability Ball Plus is a high intensity, advanced progression into more complex and challenging stability ball movements.
$20.00 for BEGINNER 6-week session; $3.00 per class or use of Class Pass for "walk-in" Plus class

Ultimate Body Blast

A TOTAL body workout - this class combines exercises using your upper and lower body for a great session of toning and functional training!  We also offer a Total Body Workout as a similar class for total body toning!

YOGA

Yoga for RelaxationHatha Yoga utilizes breathing and flexibility exercises along with some Pilates techniques to provide both physical and mental training.

Power Yoga (Vinyasa Yoga): This very active form of Yoga utilizes continuous movement through various poses to warm the body and challenge the muscles.
